Beyonce performed her Run the World single live onstage at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas for the Billboard Music Awards. As usual, it was visually stunning and involved a lot of high-quality gyrating. The dancing however, will probably be what it is best known for.

Just like in her video, Beyonce performed some killer moves and some of those moves were reminiscent of the popular Irish show, “Riverdance.” So far, there have been no confirmed reports that this is where Beyonce got her inspiration from, but many media outlets have at least seriously considered this may be so, remarking on the many similarities in dance moves. Of course, there’s nothing wrong with that, its just something to talk about. Plenty of people are talking about the video and it seems that you either love it or hate it, there doesn’t seem to be much commentary in between.  Check out her BMA performance.
