Simon Leaving Idol?

Maybe. In an interview with British newspaper “the Mirror,” America’s most loved/hated reality show judge confesses that his schedule is grueling and that American Idol may just be the gig that he has to give up. Cowell, 49, currently hosts two other very popular British talent shows; “Britain’s Got Talent,” and “The X Factor.” He also hinted that he is planning another “big new show” next year, but was mum on the details. American Idol is probably the most logical choice according to Cowell because his one year contract will expire soon and he is currently navigating four international flights a week to keep his commitments.

Scott McIntyre’s Goes Punk?

Yes. You might have heard eliminated Idol Scott McIntyre’s comment to Idol judge Paula Abdul after what would turn out to be his final Idol performance; “Its my punk side coming out.” Abdul was surprised that Scott could play the electric guitar, which he had donned in his performance of Journey’s “The Search is Over.” If you thought that his retort was sarcasm or straight humor, you would be wrong. He was dead serious.  He told Eonline that he has many musical endeavors, including a “punk-pop, power-pop band” called “The Glutes,” which he and his brother formed. He says the music is in the style of Jimmy Eat World and Blink 182.

Did Kellie Pickler Have Some “Work” Done?

Probably Not.  Her publicist insists that she hasn’t had “surgery,” but this is season of American Idol counts as the second time the Season 5 finalist has returned to Idol looking drastically different from before. Some say that she was darn near unrecognizable as the top 8 elimination show guest performer. Then there is a so-called before and after photo which has sparked rumors that Kellie has either had some type of facial surgery, such as a brow lift or a nose job. Commentators have noted the dramatic “surprised” look that is a result of surgery or excessive use of botox. The picture that most refer to though is of Ms. Pickler at a New York fashion week event that involved various dramatic stylings and makeovers by professional makeup artists. There is no question though, that Kellie is a bit of a chameleon when it comes to looks. Judge for yourself:
